At the start of 2025, I didn’t set out to do more, I set out to stay present. What unfolded was a year full of movement, milestones, detours and a few moments that quietly reshaped my priorities. Some things went exactly as planned, others fell apart or surprised me entirely.
Professionally, it was a year of steady validation rather than loud milestones. Personally, balancing work, business ownership and studying forced me to confront my limits in a new way. This is a snapshot of the experiences that filled my calendar and the lessons that filled the spaces in between.
✔️January: Solo Dominican Republic Trip & Sum 41 Concert
✔️February: Axe Throwing / Superbowl
✔️March: Irish Mingle & Parade 🍀 / Spa Bday / Cabane a Sucre on Wellington / HSI Interview
✔️April: Accepted into HSI Master’s program / Coyote Ugly at Spaghetti Western
✔️May: Festipuces
✔️June: Grand Prix / Jazz Fest – Blue Rodeo
✔️July: Cousin Weekend / Als Game / Started MA / Singles Mixer
✔️August: PSC Wish Tournament / Brunch with coworkers / Highland Games
✔️September: Army Run with coworkers
✔️October: Fright Fest / Brunch with coworkers
✔️November: Xmas Brunch with coworkers
✔️December: Xmas with the famjam, La Taverne de Noël
And as we all know, life can be unexpected and these are some of the things I didn’t quite plan for:

This year was challenging in ways that didn’t always show up on the calendar. Between working full-time at PCVRS, running Crawford Coaching part-time, studying full-time and still trying to maintain some semblance of a life, time often felt like the most limited resource. I had to make intentional choices about where my energy went and learn to let go when everything couldn’t be done at once.
The upside is that 2025 taught me a lot, about capacity, priorities and giving myself grace when things didn’t unfold exactly as planned. There were wins worth celebrating, losses that required space and lessons that will carry forward.
As I look ahead to 2026, I’m doing so with a deeper sense of clarity and appreciation. Here’s to new adventures, continued growth and whatever unexpected moments lie ahead.
