Year in Review – 2023

Another year has come and gone and this year has tested me more than ever before. I’ve realized that I’ve been tolerating a lot of unnecessary stress in my life over the years but I will not continue to do so. This year was about re-evaluating and resetting that narrative.

It’s only now that I’ve really been able to rest my overactive nervous system and recuperate over the last few months, that I realized how bad it had really gotten. There were several occasions where I needed to step back because I was very close to reaching my breaking point. Thankfully, years of experience has helped me notice and prevent that particular situation from happening but clearly not enough to recognize and better manage the events leading up to it. It’s crazy what we can get used to and think of as normal.

My new job is a major contributor to my current more relaxed state. I now have more free time to spend with family and friends, focus on hobbies and prioritize self-care, while still serving a great cause and working with the best team.

Here’s a recap of the major events of the year:

✔️ New job – Rehabilitation Service Specialist Case Coordinator – Lifemark Health – PCVRS program. #lestweforget
